At RageZone, we prioritize fair play and integrity within our gaming community. Our anti-cheat policy is designed to ensure a level playing field for all users. Below are the key points of our policy:

By adhering to these guidelines, we can foster a positive gaming environment for everyone. Thank you for being a part of the RageZone community!

How the Policy Applies to Forum Content and Private Servers

Because RageZone is built around MMO development, server files and mod catalogs, the line between legitimate tinkering and cheating is not always obvious. Studying how a game client talks to a server, writing an emulator or building a custom launcher for your own test server is the kind of work this community exists for. Distributing tools designed to give players an unfair edge on servers they do not run is a different matter, and it falls under this policy.

What is generally not allowed

  • Posting or linking aimbots, wallhacks, speed hacks, packet editors configured to exploit live servers, or similar cheat programs aimed at other people's games.
  • Sharing working exploits for active servers before the owners have had a chance to fix them.
  • Selling or trading cheats, bypasses for anti-cheat software, or stolen accounts.
  • Uploading files with hidden payloads, keyloggers or anything that compromises users' machines.

What is welcome

  • Anti-cheat discussion from the server owner's side, such as validating movement server-side, rate-limiting actions and logging suspicious behaviour.
  • Responsible disclosure: describing a vulnerability in general terms and helping developers patch their own files.
  • Debugging and reverse-engineering discussion focused on learning, emulation and private test environments you control.

Reporting effectively

A useful report names the thread or post, explains what the file or method does and why it crosses the line, and avoids reposting the offending material. Moderators may remove content first and ask questions afterwards when files could put members at risk. Repeated or serious violations can lead to permanent removal from the forums.

If you are unsure whether something you plan to share is acceptable, read the full forum rules or check the tutorials section for examples of how server-side protection topics are usually framed. When in doubt, ask a moderator through the contact page before posting.
