Posting Guidelines

Credits

When sharing content, always give credit to the original creators. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited, and we encourage the sharing of original work and ideas.

Anti-Piracy Policy

RageZone does not support or condone piracy. Any discussions or sharing of pirated content will result in immediate action. Please respect the intellectual property of others and promote legal alternatives.

Thank you for being a part of our community and for following these guidelines to maintain a friendly and constructive atmosphere!

How These Rules Work in Practice

Rules are easier to follow when you know how they apply to the kind of threads you will actually see here. Much of RageZone revolves around MMO development, private server experiments, emulators and mod projects, so a few situations come up again and again.

Crediting work properly

If you post a modified client, a repack, a script or a tool, name the people whose work it builds on and describe what you changed yourself. A short credits block at the top of the thread is enough: original author, contributors, and any libraries or assets used. If you are unsure who made something, say so honestly rather than leaving the field blank. Never strip credits, watermarks or licence files from someone else's release. Projects shared in Releases should keep their original licence terms intact.

What counts as piracy here

Talking about how a game protocol works, writing your own emulator code or sharing original tools is a very different thing from uploading commercial game clients, cracked software, leaked proprietary source code or paid content you do not have the right to distribute. Posts that link to or host that kind of material will be removed. When in doubt, point people to official downloads or legitimate open-source alternatives instead.

Asking for help the right way

Before opening a new thread, search existing discussions and check the Tutorials section, since many setup errors have already been solved. When you do ask, include the version you are using, the exact error message and what you have already tried. Clear questions get faster, better answers and keep sections tidy.

Moderation and reporting

If you see a post that breaks these guidelines, report it rather than arguing in the thread. Moderators may edit, move or remove content, and repeated or serious breaches can lead to warnings or suspension. Decisions aim to keep discussions useful, so if you believe something was handled unfairly, reach out calmly through the Contact page.
